The birth of this legendary work comes from a unique gift designed by Gianni Bulgari in Geneva's historic rue du Rhône No. 30 boutique. In 1975, the BVLGARI BVLGARI series was officially launched. With its subverted traditional design concept, it caused a huge resounding in the high-end watchmaking industry at that time. This is the first avant-garde work that combines jewelry, watches and fashion aesthetics. In 1977, legendary designer Gérald Genta reinterpreted this series, making it Bulgari's first representative watch series, and also laid a solid foundation for Bulgari's future excellent watchmaking craftsmanship. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this classic design that collectors can't put down, a total of four new BVLGARI BVLGARI commemorative watches are launched, presented on a marble dial, with watch diameters of 26 mm and 38 mm respectively. The shining marble has symbolized the grandeur and eternity of Rome since ancient times. Now, under the interpretation of Bulgari, it has been carefully polished and carved like a rare gem, reflecting the brand's respect for materials and ultimate craftsmanship. In fact, marble has long been an important element in Bulgari's creations, especially in jewelry works. However, applying it to watchmaking, especially parts as precise as dials, is a challenging craftsmanship test. Each watch is not only precious because of its complex skills, but also because of its unique natural texture, making it a unique existence in the world.

The two commemorative watches are engraved with special BVLGARI ROMA anniversary logos, using the "Verde Alpi" Alpine green marble dial and paired with a yellow K gold case; the other two are made of a rose gold case and a blue marble dial. Among them, the larger watch diameter style is made of "Blu Incanto" night blue marble, while the smaller watch diameter model is made of "Azzurro Infinito" ice blue marble dial. The small-size watch is set with diamond hour markers, showing a magnificent brilliance; the large-size watch is equipped with the BVL 191 Solotempo automatic movement, providing a 42-hour power reserve, both design and performance.

BVLGARI BVLGARI's classic double LOGO design is inspired by ancient Roman coins. It concisely and powerfully engraves the brand name into a link of the design, symbolizing unique identification and bold declaration. Its font design is also of unique significance, originating from the Roman inscription font used during the renovation of the Via Condotti flagship store in 1934, and has now become a distinctive symbol of the brand. The watch design is also deeply inspired by the eternal beauty of Rome. The round contour lines echo the solemnity and elegance of the Pantheon marble columns, and also remind people of the cylindrical structure in the colonnade of classical architecture.
