Following Alex Honnold’s record-breaking free-solo ascent of Taipei 101 earlier this year, completed in just 91 minutes, Taipei 101 is bringing this fearless spirit of challenge from the clouds back to the heart of the city. Starting now, the The Installation Art Exhibition is on display at the 4F City Square, transforming this legendary achievement into an immersive experience where visitors can capture their own summit-inspired fashion photos. A limited-edition “Urban Extreme Collection” of merchandise and Observatory experience packages are also available, allowing guests to relive the moment history was made while creating a personal city milestone of their own.

An 8-Meter “Mini Taipei 101” Makes a Stunning Debut

Taipei 101 has specially crafted an 8-meter-tall “Mini Taipei 101” installation at the luxury-filled 4F City Square. The artwork is inspired by the iconic double-tiered design at the top of Taipei 101 and incorporates the tower spire, architectural lines, and high-altitude imagery.
The installation also faithfully recreates some of the most thrilling elements from Alex’s climbing route, including the dragon-shaped sculptures and the auspicious ruyi-lock motifs positioned at its four corners. From every angle, visitors can capture unique city-inspired and fashion-forward photographs, making it one of this summer’s most talked-about photo spots.
