2026 TAIPEI 101【MIRACLES of TAIWAN】INTERNATIONAL FINE ART COMPETITION Call for Entries Starts April 30
101 Observatory
I. Event Purpose: [Showcasing the Pride of MADE IN TAIWAN to the World]
At the 508 meters pinnacle, TAIPEI 101 is not only a landmark of Taiwan but also a window for the world to see this island. The 2026 "MIRACLES of TAIWAN" International Fine Art Competition specifically invites the New Taipei City Art Museum as the art representative, cordially inviting global artistic creators to witness and depict the "Taiwan Miracles" that stand proud in the world. Starting from TAIPEI 101, what we see is the resilience and brilliance of MADE IN TAIWAN (MIT): it is the land miracle of the Taiwan High Speed Rail connecting north and south, the exquisite aesthetics of EVA Air soaring internationally, the magnificent strength of Taiwan's connection to global shipping, and the global technological pulse bursting from semiconductor wafers.
Beyond top-tier industries, the miracles of Taiwan also exist in the vibrant daily life of every street and alley—from the aroma of Beef Noodles and savory Braised Pork Rice to the world-renowned Pearl Milk Tea; in the rare native ferns and elegant orchids; and even more in the spirit of challenging limits, such as Alex Honnold's feat of climbing the spire of TAIPEI 101 and the challenge of Skyline460. We look forward to your brushstrokes refining these prides belonging to Taiwan into eternal works, allowing the world to redefine this moving "Taiwan Miracle."

Competition Theme and Submission Content
This
year's competition focuses on "Miracles of Taiwan" as its core.
Participants must use their creativity and ingenuity to perfectly blend the
architectural imagery of TAIPEI 101 with the moving MIT pride of this
land. There are no limits on creative subjects. We encourage participants to
explore through the following perspectives, but are not limited to them, as we
look forward to you discovering more unique Taiwan miracles:
- Global MIT Brand Power (Suggested but not limited): We encourage participants to
include Taiwan’s leading brands that the island is proud of in their paintings,
such as the international aerial aesthetics of EVA Air or the sense of
land-based speed of the Taiwan High Speed Rail. Witness the global influence
established by these brands alongside TAIPEI 101.

- Contemporary Art and Aesthetic Landmarks: We encourage participants to visit the New Taipei City Art Museum for inspiration, combining its unique architectural lines and artistic atmosphere with TAIPEI 101. Through the perspective of art, reinterpret the island's cultural miracles.

- International MIT Taiwan Heroes: Depict the figures of
"Taiwanese Heroes" shining in various fields. Whether it is athletes
standing on international podiums, scientists changing the world, trend-setting
artists, or those unsung heroes who persevere in daily life and demonstrate
Taiwan’s resilient spirit. Let the courage of heroes and the height of TAIPEI
101 interweave into the most moving imagery.
- Fearless Spirit of Challenging the Peak: Depict the spirit of Taiwan’s courage to push beyond limits—such as the Chinese Taipei team winning the 2024 WBSC Premier12 championship, Alex Honnold scaling TAIPEI 101, or inspiring stories of Taiwanese heroes who have represented the nation on the global stage and achieved remarkable feats.
- Miraculous Moments of Island Life: From local delicacies like Beef
Noodles, Xiao Long Bao, and Pearl Milk Tea found in streets and alleys, to the
natural beauty of rare native ferns and orchids. Any element of Taiwan that
makes you proud can dance together with the imagery of TAIPEI 101.
- Free Exploration and Discovery: Beyond the above elements, we
look forward to participants using their imagination to discover more
"MADE IN TAIWAN" prides and using their brushes to define the Taiwan
